It is a model 78H medium bore orchestral trombone. The didjeridu may seem like the simplest lip reed instruments, but its acoustics and sounds are among the most interesting, because of the relatively strong coupling among the player's vocal tract, lips and the bore. The items I represent on this website can be new, demo, vintage, used, restored or anything in between. This particular horn is about 3 years old and was used professionally by one of the top hornists here in LA.

The instrument is in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear to the finish. There also seems to be an increase in the frequency of the duet/dialogue cantatas (some in the first, none in the second) after 1725. The bell engraving is slightly less visible because of the restoration but overall the trumpet is a looker! The most distinguishing feature of this model was the larger bell, compared to those in the 18th century, which gave the trombone more resonance and power, as was amply demonstrated in the overture to Tannhauser. The horn will be cleaned prior to sale and that should neutralize any future corrosion. $1100 with case This is a beast of a bass trombone! All your people are great but there are two people who we go to the most. It has been well maintained and is overall in excellent condition, with the exception of some cosmetic blems here and there (it is an old horn after all!). I can play higher, but I have never encountered anything higher in any literature for tenor trombone.

This one has a beautiful one piece bell with french bead rim. The Bach model 16 features a 7-1/2" one-piece hand-hammered bell designed for excellent resonance and projection. Yamaha makes a really nice blowing oversized rotary valve, which are used on this model. It’s an accepted fact among brass musicians that as we age, we will lose some of our playing ability due to the physical demands alone. Yamaha combined the knowledge they learned in creating the Xeno tenor trombones with feedback from some of the world's great bass trombonists. Not sure if I'd call this a tenor or bass trombone� so I'm going to call it a quart posaune. Trumpets are played by shaping the lips to fit a solid mouthpiece. Any removal or alteration of patina on a brass piece can significantly affect its worth. [3] Determine if the brass piece is lacquered. Let me say how impressed I am with the pBone mini.
